CR Planning: August 2015

Here is your CR planning post for August! Welcome to all newbies, we hope you enjoy your stay at the Underground. Please feel free to ask any questions about what's happening in the game, whether you're just jumping in or you're a veteran player.

You can use this post to:

• Discuss your character's background history with other players and make changes where needed.
• Work out shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.
• Say what kind of CR you're looking for and reply to others to offer CR.
• Say hi to the members of your faction and discuss your in-game strategy.
• Think about what territories you might want to make a claim on.

The plotting post for August is still live! Do check it out to remind yourself of what plots are happening this month. For those of you thinking about future territory claims, note that Lewisham has already been won by the Seelie/Unseelie Court this month. The territory map will be updated to reflect this development in time for the September plotting post.

In addition, I'd like to direct your attention to this post about the Night Council, bribery, and you, which provides more information about the Night Council, its representatives and how characters can influence them in order to influence events in the game.

Sylvia Redbright (NPC) | Witch

Sylvia is a witch, and she's in charge of Circle Daybreak, the Night Council and the Redbright Institute. She's one of the Elites which now includes a full list of all the high-ranking members of the Night Council. I have been musing on the character dynamics between these NPCs, by the way, so if anyone wants any insight or would like to make use of them in a plot, let me know! I could be persuaded to play them on occasion if anyone would be interested (this would be upon request only).

As previously mentioned, I won't be making any territory claims as a mod. But given the aggressive strategy of the fae in the past couple of months, Sylvia is really going to have to look at taking action against them. If anyone wants to make a territory claim on behalf of Circle Daybreak or the Redbright Institute, she would definitely be in favour. Similarly, Sylvia would support any opposition to claims made by the fae and/or Circle Midnight.

I mentioned in the last CR post that spies and double agents could be a thing here. This is still true! Come talk to me about it, I'd definitely love to make something happen this month.

Here's a brief outline of Sylvia's overall strategy for the Redbright Institute:

• Extend the green safe zone to the north of London
• Take over disputed territories and make them peaceful
• Stamp out dark magic completely
• Eventually, negotiate with the vampires and werewolves to broker a peace agreement
• Support Circle Daybreak and Night Council where possible

And her strategy for Circle Daybreak:

• Make a slow expansion to gradually dominate the entire south of London
• Avoid pissing off the vampires unless they get aggressive
• Support Redbright Institute and Night Council where possible
• Aggressively squash any attempts by Circle Midnight to gain territory

Since we're low on Daybreak people, and Lance is now Daybreak and Night Council, these two should meet some time! He'd be easily roped into her cause since he's all about JUSTICE etc!

Q: So on a scale from "get lost" to "beat it, queen", what would Sylvia's reaction be to being asked to have Daybreak reverse their position on sealing off the Other Realm?

Abigail Widdowson | witch

Abigail Widdowson is an old-money socialite. While the family tends to be fairly reclusive, their name's still known through charity works and the history of tragedy that seems to follow them. She is also a witch and one of the founding members (and only public member) of the first announced Circle Midnight coven in some time.

Abigail has two main sets of priorities. Personal and as a Circle Midnight witch.

Personal goals:
* Get into a steady relationship that will lead to marriage
* Have a child
* Contract with a fae for her life until her child is 18 or older (which she is drafting with Balem)

These are basically long term goals to avoid the family curse, which is trying to wipe out her bloodline and has been trying for 500 years.

Midnight strategy:
* Expand the boundaries of Circle Midnight's sphere of influence
* Gain more political power with the Night Council to try and support Circle Midnight with the law
* Become a force to be taken seriously by Circle Daybreak
* Ally with the werewolves and vampires both
* Keep on semi-friendly terms with the fae

Abigail does tend to be suspicious of people since Midnight is still very much the 'outsider' faction, and she's butted heads with Sylvia already.

I'd love any CR, positive or negative.

Sirius Black | Shapeshifter

Sirius Black is a recently escaped convict from a nearby prison, where he was incarcerated twelve years ago for a murder he did not commit. He has since escaped and returned to London in order to find out who framed him and exact his revenge. He has connections to the Hillingdon Clan, but those have lapsed since he ran away from home when he was 16.

His animal form is a large, black dog.

Currently he's wandering the streets of London, alternating between forms, and generally being homeless while he tries not to get noticed. There is a warrant out for his arrest after all.

Plans:
-Acquire a safehouse/somewhere Sirius can establish a homebase that's more than just a back alley somewhere. Still contemplating which territory to set that up in, but currently looking at Enfield, Hillingdon, or one of the Redbright territories (since no hostilities).
-Determining where he stands with Hillingdon, seeing if he has any old allies/potential allies there.
-Establishing/developing CR. I'd like for him to have more friends and allies but also if you want learn his identity and cause trouble for him that way, that's also cool.
-It was established a couple months ago, but there was a bounty available for Sirius, and maybe doing something with that? I admit I got caught up with other things and haven't thought about it much.

Long term goals:
Going through the arc of establishing who framed Sirius and clearing his name. I left a lot of this deliberately vague in the event of castmates/other people wanting to get involved and I would like to get Sirius a little more established before I fully embark on it. But possibly starting to sow some seeds somehow.

I am open to any and all CR.

Alice would greatly sympathize with Sirius being in prison for 12 years, after her duration in a bad hospital. If you like, she can help him out?

Alice Liddell | witch

Alice is a young 18 year old witch who just got out of a behavioral hospital after ten years in there. Her parents were very friendly people, especially her dad who was an instructor and a teacher. Her family was murdered by a house fire, an act committed by a vampire obsessed with her older sister to cover up the crime of killing and raping her. She spent one year in recovery and the additional ten years being treated for severe PTSD and psychosis. She was deemed well enough and has been sent out in the world again, but has come back to London to familiarize herself with her family's routes. Her family was initially very friendly members of Circle Daybreak, but Alice feels turning to Circle Midnight is the solution to finding her family's murderer, because she feels Circle Daybreak failed to help her family.

Since she was out for ten years, she's struggling to adjust to the transition of life outside of the hospital, basic socializing, and trying to re-learn things. She is very hyper-vigilant and jumpy currently, but don't expect it to last that long once she starts showing her real personality and feeling comfortable to learn new things! She's also really eager to learn new things, get to relearn the culture. She is going to show great hostility to vampires to the point that she may act out, so you know.

Plans:
- Growing in magic is Alice's main goal. She got the short end of the stick after being institutionalized, frankly.
- Immerse herself with Circle Midnight? She can be a student if anyone's looking for that, Alice doesn't care.
- Learn some dark magic, of course.
- Alice really, really wants to find out who killed her family, that's her complete MO. While she's pretty meak at the moment, she's got a hidden berserker trigger to her and it'll get set off eventually.
- Alice is poking around the Insitute, but she genuinely has no real understanding about some friction between some folks, since the Liddells were a fairly laid back family and she's been out of the loop for 10 years. You can give her grief for it, I'm sure it's gonna happen.

Alice has no real goals or aid for Circle Midnght, she'll be happy to help! Until you piss her off.

Some knowledge of her family is fine! I'm willing to work with some previous CR or something. Alice is not that far different from her original canon, aside from being a littl shell-shocked with the world right now. Though, seriously, I can't wait for her real personality to come out. Alice is not very social, but I love CR, give it to me.

So I know we're starting a thread with these two but I'd love for us to work towards (slowly obvs because Alice has Problems) a sisterly relationship between these two.

Sofia "Skip" Hughes - werewolf

So, Skip has been in London for about a month. I'm happy to establish some pre-established CR from that time. She will be attending London University of Art for her foundation diploma starting in September. Next year, she'll be getting a degree in Fine Art. She's a painter and might be somewhat known in circles that know art. She's an up and coming artist, mostly known for very visceral, gory paintings. Which is how she deals with the kills of her brothers and father she's helped clean up.

Skip is technically a werewolf. Her birthmark is on the back of her neck, under a Celtic tattoo she got specifically to hide it. However, her curse is inactive. So, for all intents and purposes, she's completely human. She doesn't smell like a werewolf, doesn't read as a werewolf to those who sense supernatural creatures, isn't poison to a vampire. Until she kills someone, she's completely human. Save for the fact that she will bear werewolf children.

Which is why her father, an alpha of Waterford under the chief alpha of Munster, has arranged a marriage to her. She's never met the man and doesn't really care about the whole thing.

Since she stays out of politics, she doesn't really care that she works at a supernatural bar (Killian Murphy's Jolly Roger). She does, though, take vampire toxin during the day of her shifts. Just in case.

She's bad tempered and bound to bite off more than she can chew eventually.

I'm pretty interested to see how their cr might change if/when she turns! As for now, I think he'd get along with her pretty well. I'd be interested with more things with them!

Heiji | Seelie court

Heiji is a Seelie fae who has been moving up the ranks in his court after befriending the East End Pack and staking out some territory in the name of the fae. Though he has the favor of his higher-ups for now, these activities will soon land him in a spot of hot water :')

Lately, he's been meeting a few people that have been challenging his perceptions (vampires, half-fae, outcasts) of who the various supernatural factions are and what they're supposed to be like. He's got a bit of a foot in both worlds, London and the Other Realm, and his overarching character focus is finding out what kind of fae he'll eventually end up as and how he'll bring what he's learned back home to Japan. In the meantime, he can fish teenagers out of storm drains and get attacked by haunted spaghetti.

I am up for goofy fun, adventure, or more serious plotting!

Plans
-Observe more of London and its Other Realm counterpart
-Try to keep Mab from making vampsicles out of people every once in a while
-Investigate a mystery or two in his spare time

Goals
-Prevent Circle Daybreak from taking over South London
-Back up the werewolves and any other friends and allies

Kenzi | Circle Midnight Witch

Kenzi is a Russian girl raised in black magic, who makes a living doing almost every illegal thing under the sun.
Excluding murder. Grifting, pickpocketing, blackmailing - you name it she does it. She is one of the founding memembers of Circle Midnight's newly public coven - although she has not come out as being attached to it because of fear for her own safety.

Kenzi is not doing much currently in regards to personal goals, but here's what she does have going for her:

> Treasure hunt - this plot is not really active right now, but I'm building up to it. Looking to really start the crazy come October.

> As a result of her treasure hunt bologna, Kenzi is going to try to summon a Fae on Halloween at Gaep Manor's holiday party.
So far I've decided that Abigail Widdowson's guardian Fae Unthank, is going to open her up to being posessed every night for three nights. During the day she'll be fine, but every posession will drain her of energy and life.
He isn't planning on killing her, but he wants to scare the crap out of her. If you wanna be there for her getting her Linda Blair on, let me know and we'll figure that out! I'd love for her close CR to be there for it!

James is a werewolf lawyer and if that isn't a tv show prompt for the ages, I don't know what is. He's got some anger issues, but he likes to be in control so he does his best to bottle it up - obviously that won't end well for him. He's also a scheming little slime-ball, so let's get into his goals.

Oh also a side-note James dislikes vampires a lot as per his species stereotypes.

Long Term Goals:
> James has recently promised himself to a complete stranger in hopes of increasing his influence with Irish packs. This complete stranger is Skip, the red head a few top comments up. I have the idea that he's kept this arrangement a secret from his alpha and the rest of the East End Pack because it's all part of his MasterPlan^TM

> Speaking of MasterPlan^TM's, James is vying to become the Alpha of his own pack - and become the werewolf rep in the Night Council. If you want in on this / want to be part of his plot, lemme know and we'll work it out!

Short Term Goals:
> I have his catch-all up with the first bit of this teeny-tiny plot. Representing a vampire! He's less than pleased, but he is also too proud to walk away from it. Do you want to play a witness? Persecution? Be called in for Jury Duty? Accost him in the street for defending a horrible murderer? Go ahead and tell me so!

> I'd love for James to have some friends that he very reluctantly hangs out with at the behest of his Alpha (who told him to socialize and be nice) you know you wanna force him to come out for drinks with you.

Henry Morgan | metahuman

Henry is a medical examiner for Scotland Yard/actually for the Night Council. He is one of the people responsible for making sure that supernatural cases get hushed up the human world so secrecy is maintained. Which doesn't mean he's any less passionate about making sure victims of crimes get justice. He is also, without being a witch, a medium. He can see and speak to ghosts and is quite comfortable with it.

He's a member of the Outreach team with Redbright, though he's fairly apolitical. His own ambitions are more about keeping the peace and doing his job well than any grand political goal.

Of course, he's also an immortal who's mostly gone between New York and London the last two hundred years. But, even knowing now that there are other supernaturals and being part of the community, he still tends to keep that under wraps. Too many bad experiences.

I'd love to get him more socially involved, so people who do have cause to interact with him who'd like to encourage him into social events would be awesome. Otherwise, I'd love to just start establishing more CR for him.

Azula | fae

Azula is a 15(00) year old fae from a court in Asia that predates many of the modern national boundaries, so the names she chooses for herself, her style of dress in the Other Realm, and such things tend to blur the lines between the cultures. Modern mortal politics don't really interest her, so she doesn't even consider what it might look like to someone who doesn't know what she is.

She is the daughter of the Faery King in her home court, and she's brought that ambition with her to England.

Her primary goal in the long term is to kill the Seelie Queen and seize the throne, whether or not that means killing both the monarchs. (She is beginning to poke around for information about that or if she only needs to clear out the throne she wants.) She also is all for aggressively pushing Daybreak not just out of southern London but out entirely since the entire idea of barring fae from opening Doors in parts of the mortal world is a grievous offence to her.

To this end, she's helping incite the different factions vying for Lambeth into ramping up the violence against each other so she and Balem can conquer it with little opposition in October.

She's made plenty of enemies so far (especially because she killed a young metahuman for no better reason than he was able to create blue fire) and I'd love to continue that streak. I'm also totally down for getting her allies, too, since a grab for power probably needs more support for her than just Balem.

I'm curious about where things should go with these two. While my Avatar knowledge is a tad stale (it's been a while since I've watched the series), I'm pretty sure Azula can cause no end of trouble for Sirius. Which I'm all for.

Balem Abrasax | Unseelie Fae

Balem is a fifty-thousand year old fae who is connected to the stars and has kept to himself in his observatory for a long, long time. He checked up on London and suddenly there are humans trying to tell him where he can and cannot make doors to the Other Realm! How rude. So he's decided it's about time that he gets involved.

Generally he's very ambitious, but also greedy and vain and he comes off as a bit of an asshole unless he's actively trying to charm you.

Balem's Goals:
1. He's going to attempt to become Unseelie King, because he thinks he'd be a more effective leader. And because he's a power hungry jerk.
2. He's planning a territory claim with Azula in October, as he's recently become Lord of Autumn and October is the height of Autumn.
3. He's planning on making a deal with Abigail and is interested in allying with Circle Midnight in general.
4. Prevent Daybreak and the Night Council from becoming too powerful.

Misc. Stuff I'd Like To Play:
1. Any new CR! If I don't have CR with you yet, let's do it!
2. Balem granting a wish that backfires horribly, likely because he interpreted the phrasing in a cheeky manner on purpose.
3. If anyone made any art of him he'd be ridiculously flattered and become much fonder of them (unless they were in Daybreak or the Night Council).
4. An actual fight with someone else!
5. Anything involving his illusion ability. Technically, going into one of his illusions means you age a lot faster while you're there so he can swipe your youth, but if you're immortal already that won't happen.
6. Anything, really! Come at me.

Nancy is an eighteen-year-old witch raised by a fae. She's bright and sassy, and was recently voted team mom. She's also a thief and a prostitute whom specializes in working with vampires.

Plans
» she's more of a reactive character than an active one. But know if you're going along with Kenzi's plan to get revenge on whomever cursed her, she will have Words for you.
» Try to keep the balance amongst those she's made friends with. So, vamps and fae mostly. She only knows like, two werewolves if we're being generous.
» Recently, she's been cursed to speak the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help her gods. That will be lifted on the approaching full moon, but there's still time to get in and make life difficult! It's also lifted if she reveals three things she's never wanted to tell people, and she's at one right now.

Misc stuff?
» Female friends? She has maybe two, three.
» Actual negative CR.

Clara Seville | Redbright Affliated; Ghost

SUMMARY;; Clara is kind of an old ghost, having passed away in the 1990s, and used to originally haunt a coffee shop that used to be her apartment complex where she peacefully passed away. She's been around long enough to move around in different places now. She's a pretty friendly in general, trying not to get into fights with people if she can avoid it because she knows 99.99% of the time she'll lose. She'll lose hard.

She's heavily in favour of the Redbright Institute out of concern for the students there and the fact her granddaughter is still attending there despite her recent graduation. More so since the death of a metahuman and is trying to become more active in the community as a result. She's a security guard for Redbright and is a spy for Mab.

CR PLANS;;

→ SHAKEN, NOT STIRRED in Clara will try to be a spy for Mab by snooping around places she shouldn't be snooping around in to learn what others are up to. (Islington Nest territories, East End Pack territories, and places like that.)

→ BRAVE NEW WORLD in which I'm interested in Clara making a Redbright Institute territory claim in September or October! I'm thinking that her IC reason will be that the institution will be pushing forward to make a new claim of land so it'll be safer to get metahumans and other youngsters to safety after the incident with Akane in Richmond. We'll just say she was tasked with others to look for area to claim and HARINGEY is her suggested area. It's convenient for her and the school since it's where her cemetery can be found, but not her exact spot in the cemetery since the cemetery is huge, and it's close to the school's current territories so it can be defended more easily.

So I'm hoping to spend this month and next month or so talking to a lot of people in hopes of smoothing this possibility out: Redbright peeps and friends of hers for back up the claim. And, of course, vampire characters and werewolf characters to help settle this out ICly!

→ AND EVERYTHING NICE...ISH I'm hoping to aim for her to meet new people and forge more relationships, positive or not, with the new characters here! I'm also planning to flesh out more of the reasons why Clara is still lingering on the living side when, by all accounts, she should be at peace.

CR IDEAS;;

Some things I mentioned in the past that I'm interested in trying out in the future!

→ FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT I would like some negative CR please! Clara is a nice little old lady but it would be more fun to thread against someone she's uncomfortable/annoyed with for variety and to push her past her familiar comfort zones and deal with more emotions than the usual calm/happy state of hers. Yes I want that means I want to emotionally upset a ghost. Because I can.

→ THROW YOUR HAT IN ... I'm also looking to have Clara get more involved with another faction! Because much as she loves Redbright, it needs breathing room from her fussing and having her turn her attentions to another group will be good since it gives her a whole new view/idea to look at how the undergrounds works for that faction.

→ OLD CONNECTIONS because like I said she's been around for a looong time since she moved to London around the late 1960s - early 1970s. She would have had the ability to move beyond her haunting spot by the mid 2000s and began to really explore what's out there. I can see her making friends with mediums who wish her to do no harm or metahumans who aren't scared of her presence and even a fae or vampire if that tickles someone's fancy.

→ AND EVERYTHING ELSE HERE I'm so up for her having all the CR and any CR. She has a habit of merrily floating around minding her own business so I can see her getting involved in things by accident or so.

John Cooper | Vampire

Cooper here is a vampire who is addicted to making poor life decisions. He's currently a level 2 Baron in the Islington Nest. He tends to either go into interactions one of two ways: annoying asshole who will get under your skin or nice guy who will make for a very loyal friend. He's also got a temper that gets him into trouble more often than not. What's he's been up to since game start is making plenty of friends and more than just a few enemies. He's on good terms with most of Circle Midnight and has pissed off more than few Hillingdon hunters and members of the East End Pack.

Goals:

-Anything that involves him still dealing with the repercussions of going on a fae blood induced bender.
-Going to put up a catch-all fairly soon for a plot where he gets magically cursed into an animal form by some pissed-off fairies in response to him eating a bunch of them during said bender.
-Doing a territory claim sometime next month or October. Islington needs to represent, yo.
-Moving up the ranks of Islington to at least level 4. He was a second-in-command for his previous nest and I'd love to get him in a position where he has power again, for ill or for better.
-Taking part in the plot to find and get revenge on whoever cursed Nancy.
-Kicking ass and taking names. No really, he does love to get in a fight, so if you need a character to act as a punching bag versus yours, he's a good one for that.

Bucky Barnes | Werewolf

OKAY! Bucky is brand-spanking new, so this'll be short. He's a foul-mouthed little cheeky American shit here in London to undergo training with British SAS. But really it's more of a cover for him to integrate into a pack, understand its dynamics, and either find a way to control himself during transformation or find a way for someone else to control him during transformation.

Long-term Goals
* Learning all he can about different supernatural species and how they tic. He may try wiggling in with the hunters to learn a thing or two.
* Raising high enough in rank to learn how to control himself during transformation or finding spells/items that will do the same thing.


Short-term Goals
* Familiarize himself with London
* GET TALKING WITH HIS NEW PACK! Guys, come say hi to this newbie asshole :< He's lost and alone and confuuused

Hey :). The fae are now unofficial allies with the Pack, so if you ever want to hang around with a fuzzy friend, Heiji is around :|b. He might also be a good source for info on the fae in general, as he's been known to take people on field trips to Faery.

Mab is Unseelie and she is allied with the Seelie and the East End Pack. She has a ghostly spy and is actively stomping out misbehavior in Lewisham. She is currently Lady of Air and Darkness a level Three in the Unseelie and has two minions, Grimalkin who is a grumpy kitty the size of a lynx and Michê who is a yeti.

Personal goals:

• Become Unseelie Queen
• Create an accords to undercut the Night Council's authority.
• Maintain balance magically and seasonally speaking

Current activities:

• Lewisham territory claim which happened starting at the beginning of the month. I've been playing this out in individual threads but if anyone wants to do something specific with me, just let me know, I plan on posting something this weekend in honor of the claim happening and would be happy to add on a little skirmish here or there if you felt you missed out!
• Assisting with the wolf's claim up north.
• Courting allies.
• Laying down the law in her own territory. Which mostly consists of, don't attack a fae or ally of the fae and you won't die horribly, in fact you'll mostly be left alone so long as you don't cause too much trouble.

Future plans and things I'd like to play:

• She will probably upgrade next month to Winter Lady.
• I want to eventually (thanks to some ideas by certain players) like to give her a genie curse so people get the worst wishes ever until she gets out. (let me know if you want to be involved)

I'm also always up for Clara to be like indebted to her somehow by asking for a big spell to be cast or something. A thought has come to mind but will it be too hideous even for us. Answer is most likely no because I like making Clara suffer via worrying for her loved ones and what's a better way then having her granddaughter almost die in a freak accident on her 20th birthday.

KJ is a vampire pirate begrudgingly living in London because his sire is not giving him a choice in the matter right now. He is an Earl in the Islington Nest and he's not super into it, but he'll do his part and he looks out for others of his kind. He has a rare fondness for fae and he is also known in the supernatural community to be looking for a very powerful magical item called the Dark One dagger. He has aims to make his own faction, not necessarily exclusive to vampires, BUT NO WEREWOLVES, ew.

SHORT TERM PLANS
— to keep schmoozing and making allies that will aide him in the long run. He'll charm just about anybody, except for werewolves. He's not a fan.
— something with his pub? he does have a back room that is ~~invite only~~ for the supernatural community, where they're allowed to get their razzle dazzle on. something going bad there would be fun, maybe.
— he's a pirate that isn't really sailing so the only pirate thing he's got left is to steal stuff. can he steal from your character? let's do this thing.
— he's looking for the dark one's dagger, and would be willing to hire or pay someone to help him in this effort. somebody could try to fuck him over for a quick buck, and it could go very wrong for that person.
— he's looking through his connections for somebody knowledgeable about ghosts. If your character might be helpful there, plz let me know!

LONG TERM PLANS
— he really is tired of taking orders from the nest, and wants to break away from that at some point. I need to talk to the mod about the specifics of that, but at some point I'd like him to have his own, smaller faction, based off his perhaps questionable idea of morality. If anybody would be interested in that let me know! As of this point, the only characters unwelcome would be werewolves.

Lance is slowly learning to get his Supernatural Cop Thing on! He's had a few awkward run-ins, enough to drive him to a little drinking, but he's growing in confidence! So!

Yo, I kept meaning to look out for an open post from Lancelot, but realized that you actually had one for July and I like... totally spaced and missed it. Did you still want to do a thing?

Faolan | Hillingdon/Night Council Guardian (human)

FAOLAN here is a hunter with the Hillingdon clan. He's been a hunter for about 10 years now, after a tragic incident over in Ireland involving vampires killing his family (they were hunters, he was not at the time), and stealing his sister away as a message for the rest of them not to come looking. Of course he tried, so they turned her into a vampire and nearly killed him. So he moved to London to get away from those memories and set himself up with Hillingdon, where he's been ever since, after a very rocky start. He's also a Private Investigator who specializes in dealing in underground supernatural cases. Your character might know him:

from his association with Hillingdon, either as a fellow hunter or from the other side of things!

from his work as a PI -- he has consulted with the police a few times (he's got a man on the inside who bails him out of trouble -- HE OWES HIM FOR SAVING HIM/HIS FAMILY/ETC).

from seeing him around the city -- he spends a lot of time just out and about in between jobs.

FOR SOME OTHER REASON WHICH WE CAN DECIDE ON OURSELVES /CHINHANDSSSSS

ALSO Faolan has also recently been accepted into the Night Council as a Guardian. WHICH HAS ALL SORTS OF POTENTIAL! Of the pair of them, Faolan is more the "bad cop" one of the two, however he has far lower moral standings than Lancelot does so if he's too bright and shiny for you, THERE'S ALWAYS FAOLAN.

I'm basically looking for any and all CR both new and old and I know that doesn't help to narrow things down at all but it's so true. Positive CR, negative CR, people for him to get along with, people for him to butt heads with. People for him to squint at distrustingly and people who might try and take him under their wing and invite him over for tea.

As far as his personal beliefs as a hunter are concerned, Faolan does not believe that being non-human makes you a monster, though he does have a pretty strict rule. You harm humans, you're on the short list. You kill them, especially if it's on purpose, you don't get a second chance as far as he's concerned. So if you want to be his friend and you're a vampire/werewolf/something else with a taste for blood who enjoys indulging in it too, just don't let him know about that and everything should go just "swimmingly" ;)

He also has an open plot that he's heading going on right now, if you are interested in participating in that as well you are never too late!

If you want, I was thinking Maera might try to befriend him - she's kind of looking to talk to some Night Council people to get their opinion on the fae (hopefully without revealing that she's a fae herself). And it'd be nice for her to have someone from the Night Council on her side, so to speak.

Maera Perkins | Unseelie Fairy

Maera is a half-human, half-fae of the Unseelie Court who’s lived in London for the past 90 years. She’s just a messenger/courier for the Court, and while she has some hopes for heading up the ranks in the future, for now, she’s okay with where she is. Her pleasant status-quo has been shaken up a little by the events of last month: she was badly beaten up by Azula, witnessed a boy’s death, and was cursed by Faust. So it’s not the best of times for her, really. She’s lost a lot of faith in herself, and also some in her faction.

Some CR plans I have for her in the upcoming months:

→ She wants to get stronger, both physically and magically. A lot of the trouble she faced last month came from not being strong enough to fight for herself. So she’ll be seeking out mentors/trainers who’ll be willing to take her on.

→ She wants to make more friends with metahumans/non-fae. For all these years, despite being present in the supernatural community, she’s never really tried to connect with others outside of her faction because fae are the best, duh. Unfortunately, she doesn’t quite think that anymore. So she’ll be seeking out other people to befriend.

→ She wants to find other people out there who disapprove of the callous attitude many fae take towards humans. Not that she’d ever publicize this to any other fae – she’s not an idiot. But this is something that’s making her really uncomfortable, and something she might like to change in the future. So she’ll be seeking out members of the supernatural community who are anti-fae’s treatment of humans.

→ I’m willing to consider any other CR too that I didn’t mention above! Maera could always do with some more enemies – probably the only CR that won’t happen this month is her getting friendlier with any fae.

Do you want to do something with Heiji and Maera on the anti-anti-human sentiment front? Heiji feels loyalty to his faction and he's a bit rules of naturey because... well, he's a fox, but he also isn't crazy about the callousness and he'd like to talk about that with someone.

Aradia Megido | Ghost, Circle Midnight

Summary: Aradia's a nosy but friendly ghost located down in Lewisham who's been dead for a little over two years now, and was formerly a rookie witch of Circle Midnight. She's a lot more mischevious then she was a few months ago, having finally found an anchor to hold her shit together, but that comes at the cost of being a lot more willing to get into trouble. Oh dear.

She also used to be a medium, and is slowly rebuilding her tiny reputation of being someone who helps people Do Things.

Current Plans: Pretty empty! She's getting back into the swing of things after a month of being separated from her anchor and generally moping around, which... is a bit harder now that she's also missing chunks of her soul. Thanks, Azula. :T

I'm planning for her to get more into the nitty-gritty of London politics pretty soon, since Lewisham got Fae-ified and put her in danger - that means more general roaming from Aradia, and hopefully her finally getting back on the Midnight party bus. Plus, still trying to work out how to avenge herself. Because that's still a thing.

Murder: Additionally, I'm still OOCly looking for negative past CR - specifically, I'm hoping to eventually build up to Aradia tracking down the bugger who killed her and trying to get revenge, which is a lot more fun for everyone when other players are involved. So if anyone wants a past body count, maybe we can work something out.
