CR Planning: August 2015

Here is your CR planning post for August! Welcome to all newbies, we hope you enjoy your stay at the Underground. Please feel free to ask any questions about what's happening in the game, whether you're just jumping in or you're a veteran player.

You can use this post to:

• Discuss your character's background history with other players and make changes where needed.
• Work out shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.
• Say what kind of CR you're looking for and reply to others to offer CR.
• Say hi to the members of your faction and discuss your in-game strategy.
• Think about what territories you might want to make a claim on.

The plotting post for August is still live! Do check it out to remind yourself of what plots are happening this month. For those of you thinking about future territory claims, note that Lewisham has already been won by the Seelie/Unseelie Court this month. The territory map will be updated to reflect this development in time for the September plotting post.

In addition, I'd like to direct your attention to this post about the Night Council, bribery, and you, which provides more information about the Night Council, its representatives and how characters can influence them in order to influence events in the game.

Lance is a Night Council Guardian, so technically the supernatural police as well as the real police. So he can help with her investigation into her family's death too if you like!

Well I wouldn't necessarily go as far as... rational... HAHA

But! How would you want to handle it? She could either find out Lancelot is Night Council via falling upon him investigating something, if she's talking to Henry already he could tell her that Lance & Faolan are the Night Council Guardians, or -- something else? Mystery other option at your discretion!

Even if this is a modern Alice, she's still not the most level-headed person!

Well, I'm completely cool about people knowing about her dad (I'm saying he was a teacher and mentor) and vaguely what happened. If not, Alice is going to openly ask about vampires to Night Council members. Since she's fresh out of the hospital, her social cues aren't so great and she doesn't know how to be descreet quite yet. She won't advertise her wishes for revenge or what happened since she's ashamed of being in a hospital for ten years. But I'm willing to work with that. I'm sure with her poking around and expressing her eagerness for that and learning craft, she's going to turn a few heads. It makes her pretty vulnerable, unfortunately, in the wrong hands but eyah :(
