Faction Reward: November 2016

It's faction reward time! Every three months or so, the faction with the highest amount of plot involvement per player will have the opportunity to claim a reward. The winning faction is decided based on the average number of plots and events run by each player over the last three months.

So, without further ado, the winner is...

ISLINGTON NEST!

Congratulations! You can now choose one of the following rewards:

• Gain a territory.
• Change a law in your faction's favour.
• Form an alliance with another faction.

Islington players, you have until 26th November to vote for your preferred reward. Once you have selected your reward, you can then work out the details in the upcoming plotting post.

If you vote to gain a territory, you should decide what territory you'd like to win. If you vote to change a law, please discuss your options with me – you will need mod permission for your proposed change. Finally, if you vote to form an alliance with another faction, then it's a good idea to bring players of the other faction into the discussion to check that ICly an alliance could be made. The two groups will then be considered together as a single faction for the next round of group rewards.

Whichever reward you choose will ICly happen in December. A member of your faction will therefore need to volunteer to lead the plot in the upcoming plotting post. Enjoy!

CHANGING/ADDING A LAW

Putting forth the proposal that Islington uses this Faction Reward to change Night Council Law in their favor by creating a new law! This law would concern the vampires' representation on the Night Council, and ensuring that one psycho in power doesn't ruin the chances for the rest of them. (Not that they have anything to worry about with JC on top, of course.)

Sure! We're definitely going to have to work out some specifics after the vote, but basically the law would be writing down in stone who/what is guaranteed representation on the Night Council.

Interesting! Yes, the specifics are very important here as there are a number of vested interests involved, not just the vampires.

EDIT: The vote has now passed. You can either discuss the specifics here or wait until the plotting post goes up tomorrow to hash things out. Either way is fine!

So I know that one of the options to choose from is to 'change a law in the faction's favor', but could the reward be used to ADD a law, or is that more something that needs to be done by petition (and bribe)?

It could be used to add a law! Of course that would require discussion depending on what you'd like to do.
