CR Planning: May 2015

Welcome to the Underground! As promised, this is a follow-up post for players who have been accepted into the game to discuss your characters' AU backgrounds with canonmates and other characters, and to establish pre-existing CR (character relations). Feel free to revise your character's history as appropriate to fit in with other characters in the game.

You can use this post to:

• Discuss your character's background history with other players and make changes where needed.
• Work out shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.
• Say what kind of CR you're looking for and reply to others to offer CR.
• Say hi to the members of your faction and begin discussing your in-game strategy.
• Start thinking about what territories you might want to make a claim on.

There will be a plotting post on the 18th where you can stake your territory claims for the opening month of the game, choose a prompt from a list of plots and start planning the events listed in the calendar.

Read the factions page to remind yourself who your allies and enemies are, then take a sneaky look at the territories map as it currently stands and have a think about your faction's goals. Do you want to make an aggressive grab for power? Sit tight and defend the territories you've already got? Play nice and build alliances with other factions? There's no right or wrong way to play: the tactics employed by your faction are completely up to you.

As before, this is a player-led discussion, but I'm happy to answer any questions. Happy planning, and I look forward to playing with everyone when the game opens!

Name: Sasuke Uchiha
Faction: Hillingdon Clan

Shared History: He did grow up in a completely non-magical and average orphanage, so if your character happened to as well then hit me up! They could've definitely crossed paths. Furthermore, Sasuke works at a hardware store. If you're a regular with a ghost haunting their plumbing or your hobby is building bombs lawn chairs, we have another link.

Faction Info: Sasuke is newly coming into the Hillingdon Clan and has zero established presence. In fact, he's only recently become aware of the supernatural world and realized he isn't alone with his powers. Any help figuring them out and acclimating to this new environment would be amazing.

Sought CR: As mentioned above, help getting used to the supernatural world would be great. Help with his powers -- basic fire and electricity mojo, generally speaking -- would be even better. I'm completely open to all types of plotting and plan to have him skulking around the Hillingdon Clan and the Redbright Institute in nearly equal measure. My plurk is pyrrhic and my AIM/Skype are both pyrrhicbattles.

Oh man, Sasuke has fire and lightning powers, I totally forgot about that. Those are Heiji's specialties, so he might be able to help Sasuke out there.

...Heiji might also visit the hardware store looking for suspicious items like pipes and ask Sasuke about the best rope to make nooses with.

HMMMM. Trying to think of how to introduce these two... I could always have Stiles stumble across the hardware store, but I'm not sure how to bring the SUPERNATURAL element into the equation so that Stiles starts harassing Sasuke... Does Sasuke ever have issues controlling his powers, or...? :|a

Sasuke's eyes have some ability to note unusual energies in people but that doesn't really go for humans. Stiles, you are making this so hard, god.

He has trouble judging them, so he could easily put too much oomph into one and set something on fire or short circuit something. And if Stiles witnessed it his first instinct might be to try to kill him so THIS CR IS GOING TO START OFF SO GREAT OHIKNEWG

DEFINITELY NOT THAT SENSITIVE, he's pretty crappy with his abilities right now. We're gonna' have to go with shenanigans to get them talking instead of that but that'll make it even better in the long run!

This is exactly what London is like, welcome to hell. It might actually be fun to have them think of each other as ordinary humans for a while? If they click at all and start hanging out. Like 'oh he can't know about this side of me' but in reality it's totally a sitcom trope of them hiding the same crap so they look like idiots.

Ginko's always one for dispensing advice whether it's been asked for or not, ehe, but I think they could possibly strike up a chat at the hardware store? Ginko would pick up on that magical energy pretty quickly.

There are so many reasons that these two need to have cr! Hillingdon bros! And also, when Clint was a kid, he lived in a non-magical orphanage for a while until he ran away and joined an equally non-magical circus. Though he's not going to bring that up in regular conversation unless he has a reason haha. Also tiny arrowhead bomb building but shh.

He'd probably be of no help when it comes to powers, but he would probably end up dadding him a little bit oops.

I need more Hillingdon reps, HEY THERE. This cr already sounds phenomenal; I'm so ready. Teach him the ways of the crossbow so that I can parallel Sasuke's archery skills from canon here. or so that he can nearly kill himself and/or Clint by being incompetent for several weeks

No but really the orphan tie sounds like a really great way for them to connect! I agree that it wouldn't come up for a while but if it did it'd be an immediate bonding platform, whether Sasuke would want to admit it or not. 'u' I feel like Clint is going to have the most suspicious and weird hardware store purchases of all.
