Faction Reward: November 2015

It's faction reward time! Every three months or so, the faction with the highest amount of plot involvement per player will have the opportunity to claim a reward. The winning faction is decided based on the average number of plots and events run by each player over the last three months.

So, without further ado, the winner is...

CIRCLE DAYBREAK!

Congratulations! You can now choose one of the following rewards:

• Gain a territory.
• Change a law in your faction's favour.
• Form an alliance with another faction.

Circle Daybreak players, you have until 26th November to vote for your preferred reward. Once you have selected your reward, you can then work out the details in the upcoming plotting post.

If you vote to gain a territory, you should decide what territory you'd like to win. If you vote to change a law, please discuss your options with me – you will need mod permission for your proposed change. Finally, if you vote to form an alliance with another faction, then it's a good idea to bring players of the other faction into the discussion to check that ICly an alliance could be made. The two groups will then be considered together as a single faction for the next round of group rewards.

Whichever reward you choose will ICly happen in December. A member of your faction will therefore need to volunteer to lead the plot in the upcoming plotting post. Enjoy!

Question!

How does claiming a territory via faction reward work? IE, it is still considered a conflict -- the hand is just tipped in favour of the faction who is claiming the victory?

LAW CHANGE IDEAS

So! Daybreak is already reasonably obnoxiously big territory-wise, and doesn't have many significant disadvantages.

Thus, for the sake of not being too imposing, I thought an idea might be a law change to render Dark Magic or perhaps possession of Dark magic associated items punishable in some way.

It would need a catalyst, of course, and a person to propose it -- I'm happy to have Norrell be the one take the IC flack since he is pushy enough for that manner of thing.

Equally, though, a law could be ICly overturned or changed at some point and one such as this is only enforceable if people are caught or casting in public for some reason -- meaning it's more a background looming pressure than something I think would horrifically restrict gameplay.

Open to thoughts, counter ideas, correction!

If it went through I was going to include it as part of Norrell's general tantrums yes!
