CR Planning: July 2015

Welcome to the Underground! Newbies, we're very excited to have you! As mentioned in the calendar, there will be a welcome log posted on the 19th for newbies and current players alike to mingle. However, don't feel that you can't post until then, feel free to jump in right away! In the meantime, this post is a free-for-all for everyone to make new CR and figure out how to get involved with the game.

You can use this post to:

• Discuss your character's background history with other players and make changes where needed.
• Work out shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.
• Say what kind of CR you're looking for and reply to others to offer CR.
• Say hi to the members of your faction and discuss your in-game strategy.
• Think about what territories you might want to make a claim on.

The plotting post for July is still live with a couple of prompts left to claim, so please do feel free to use it!

I also want to add a quick reminder about the HMD meme that went up a couple of days ago, and in particular my request for feedback on the game. I've had a lot of great feedback already and am very happy to hear more suggestions, whether you've just joined or you've been around since the beginning. I will be starting to make the changes discussed from this weekend onwards, and more input is always welcome.

Question: It's reasonable that Faust would have heard of Fagin or even had dealings with him, given the sometimes unsavory nature of his deals. Do you want to set up something where they meet?

Oh totally!

IDK if you're familiar with Nancy's canon at all, but Fagin is basically the worst. Do not let the song and dance fool you. He'll make any sort of deal possible at all so long as eh comes out on top, and what-have-you. Half of his gang of kids came from deals. That's how nancy wound up under his employ, her mom was a witch who made a stupid deal. And here we are.

So yesss it's completely reasonable! I'd love to set a thing up. I'm running out for the day, but lemme knowww if you had anything particular in mind? 'cause I need more CR with errone

I'm sadly not familiar at all, but hey. I'd be happy to have Faust get burned at some point by a deal with Fagin as well (as long as you don't mind if Faust then hates him forever and does everything he can to metaphorically kick sand in his face, gdi >8( ).

Sounds perfect to me. Everyone should hate Fagin for forever and ever anyway. Plus it is the most unlikely ever that someone is going to ever app him. SO.

Yes I think that would be loooovely. She happens to be the only one who lives on her own and is mostly independent from him, so she tends to be the easiest way to get to him. So yes. Let's do a thing.
