CR Planning: July 2015

Welcome to the Underground! Newbies, we're very excited to have you! As mentioned in the calendar, there will be a welcome log posted on the 19th for newbies and current players alike to mingle. However, don't feel that you can't post until then, feel free to jump in right away! In the meantime, this post is a free-for-all for everyone to make new CR and figure out how to get involved with the game.

You can use this post to:

• Discuss your character's background history with other players and make changes where needed.
• Work out shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.
• Say what kind of CR you're looking for and reply to others to offer CR.
• Say hi to the members of your faction and discuss your in-game strategy.
• Think about what territories you might want to make a claim on.

The plotting post for July is still live with a couple of prompts left to claim, so please do feel free to use it!

I also want to add a quick reminder about the HMD meme that went up a couple of days ago, and in particular my request for feedback on the game. I've had a lot of great feedback already and am very happy to hear more suggestions, whether you've just joined or you've been around since the beginning. I will be starting to make the changes discussed from this weekend onwards, and more input is always welcome.

Sirius Black | Harry Potter | Shapeshifter

Sirius is a Shapeshifter with loose connections to the Hillingdon Clan. He's been in prison for the past 12 years after being framed for murder, but has since managed to escape and is now roaming London determined to clear his name. He's fairly cagey of his identity and has been reluctant to give out his last name, should anyone figure out who he is and report him.

Plans:
-I hope to have a log up this weekend (hopefully this evening) for him, with a few options including him causing trouble through a prank of some sort and him sneaking around his old place of employment, which may lead to him getting found out.
-Hopefully have him connect with the Hillingdon clan at some point.

Desired CR:
-Friends and people he can count on, mostly. Or at least, people he can convince that he's innocent and are willing to help him?
-Otherwise, anything.

If you're interested in proving Sirius is innocent at some point, Heiji may be able to help! He's got some police connections and he's used to investigating. He may be able to get Sirius some useful info :).

That's definitely something I'll keep in mind. I kind of want to keep things the way they are now since everything surrounding his framing is something I've kept deliberately vague in the event that I might (hopefully) get castmates. But perhaps down the line we can do something with it.

Abby needs to find out the secret of her on-again-off-again dog. And she will accept his framed claim almost immediately. She's not too smart with these things.

...At least it'll help his "I'm not a murderer" thing! Because Abby would figure she'd already be dead or a hostage if that was the case!
