So very late about doing this-- but hello! My name is Audrey, and I bring you, Captain Homer Jackson: yankee, snake oil sawbones, card-fixer, whoremonger, and a surprisingly brilliant doctor under all that stupid!

 

He's from Ripper Street, a Victorian-era crime procedural, set a couple months after the Ripper murders. He's Inspector Reid's pet loud-mouth American, and serves as his surgeon, crime scene analyst, and chemist all-in-one.

I've transposed him to modern day, but you'll still find Jackson working for the police in Whitechapel. By day, he's a forensic pathologist. After hours, he's a witch, who splits his time between getting drunk and sleeping around, coming up with quick schemes to get money, and hiding from his vampire enemies in America.

Okay I haven't actually seen Ripper Street, but I'm told I would love it, so I'm excited to see a character from it anyway??

Anyway, I'm Ange. I play Ringer here, who is a human hunter who fails at fun. I'm not saying he should be the Haymitch to her Katniss or anything necessarily, but they should def chat at some point! c:

Well, he IS the best character... and by best, he's the only one who knows how to have fun. The epitome of a free-spirited, crass American.

Anyways, hello! Irritating people who don't like to have fun's a pastime of his, so I foresee him being that annoying acquaintance she'd like to dislike. He's also making a point of making nice with hunters, SO JUST SAYIN'....
