So very late about doing this-- but hello! My name is Audrey, and I bring you, Captain Homer Jackson: yankee, snake oil sawbones, card-fixer, whoremonger, and a surprisingly brilliant doctor under all that stupid!

 

He's from Ripper Street, a Victorian-era crime procedural, set a couple months after the Ripper murders. He's Inspector Reid's pet loud-mouth American, and serves as his surgeon, crime scene analyst, and chemist all-in-one.

I've transposed him to modern day, but you'll still find Jackson working for the police in Whitechapel. By day, he's a forensic pathologist. After hours, he's a witch, who splits his time between getting drunk and sleeping around, coming up with quick schemes to get money, and hiding from his vampire enemies in America.

HI YES FANTASTIC SHOW.

Yes let me brainstorm reasons why they might have crossed paths. Maybe he needed her particular powers for something? Keeping something cold in the morgue? ;D

He doesn't like to mix human work and the supernatural, unfortunately. He is a tentative member of Circle Daybreak though - maybe he could encounter her through some function?

I keep on having this image of him slipping on ice and falling on his ass.

That's fine. If you want I can just keep an eye open for an open post of his and then kind of roll with whatever you've got up there. I'm pretty good at coming up with random stuff based on what I'm given. I'm assuming that she will not know that he is a witch though? (Since they've never met.)

And we can totally go with whoops accidental ice patch in the middle of July.
