CR Planning: June 2015

Welcome to the Underground! Newbies, we're very excited to have you! This post is both a CR meme and a general update about what's happening in the game, so please do read and feel free to ask any questions.

You can use this post to:

• Discuss your character's background history with other players and make changes where needed.
• Work out shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.
• Say what kind of CR you're looking for and reply to others to offer CR.
• Say hi to the members of your faction and discuss your in-game strategy.
• Think about what territories you might want to make a claim on.

Newbies, are you wondering how to get started? The plotting post for June is still live, and there's room to jump in! Here are some plots in the works that are open to join:

Vampire & hunter shenanigans
• The Bloody Countess (20th June, Heiji Hattori)

Fae shenanigans
• Litha Feast: aka kidnapped by the Seelie (21st June, Heiji Hattori)
• Missing teens: aka who got kidnapped by the Seelie (in-progress, Pel Lavellan)

Witchy shenanigans
• Forming a Circle Midnight coven (25th June, Abigail Widdowson)
• Throwing a Midnight party at Geap Manor (1st July, Abigail Widdowson)

There will also be some new game information to be added this month: the Elites, a list of the most influential characters in each faction. These will be exclusively made up of level 4 or 5 ranking characters, and therefore to start off this page will be populated by NPCs. The twist? They'll be made up by you, so that you can put a name and a face to your faction leaders. Look out for an OOC post on that soon.

malia tate, shapeshifter (coyote), ally to east end pack

ABOUT:

Malia is a shapeshifter, and her animal form is a coyote. Up until just recently she's been mostly living on the streets of London in her coyote body, taking only the occasional moment to shift back into her human form, mostly to keep herself from going feral. She's now an ally to the East End pack via her cousin, Derek, with whom she reunited with roughly at the end of May.

CR PLANS:
Malia is brand new to the game, and as a result I don't have much in the way of plans for her. However, there are a few things!

-I plan on getting her involved with the Vampire Countess plot as soon as I can find the OOC plotting post for that! Malia likes to punch first and ask questions never, plus she really doesn't like vampires so this plot is perfect for her.
-Integrating herself more with the East End pack! Have an East End werewolf or ally? Let's do stuff!

IDEAS:
Again, Malia is brand spankin' new, so I don't have much. Here's the few ideas I do have.

-More people other than Stiles to help her get used to society. He's a terrible moral compass.
-She doesn't have too many good thoughts about other shapeshifters/the Hillingdon Clan, but there were a couple of people who helped her out a few months after her mother was murdered, helping her gain control and outfitting her with clothes and a place to sleep if she needs it. I'd prefer a shapeshifter or two for this, but anyone will do!
-Malia's also spent a lot of time as a coyote. People who've discovered her (for good or bad) wandering in this form prior to her are always welcome!

I think that's everything; if you guys have anything you'd like Malia for let me know! Right now, I'm fairly open to everything.

If you'd like, once they get acquainted, Heiji might be able to help with the getting used to society thing although he's not even human. he does hang out with them a lot, though! or hanging out in their other forms or something. malia sounds fun :V.

Malia is totally fun!! And I'm all for him being one of her 'MALIA NO' people!! I'm sure they could meet through Stiles or something?

Slams into this. I think it would be hilarious for Jen to drag Malia along to networking events to try and help Derek's cousin acclimate better. Hoity-toity parties, openings of businesses, charity fundraisers, etc. Jen means well, but dealing with young people is so not her forte laughs.

YES. Dress her up in frilly dresses and take her out, Jen!! I know a little bit about Shulkie and this CR would be god damn hilarious and epic. PUNCH ALL THE THINGS TOGETHER??

Sirius might be allied with the Hillingdon Clan, but loyalties like that have never stopped him from doing the right thing. He'd be happy to help her out.

Awesome! :D Would Sirius be available to be one of the people who helped her out? Her mom was murdered roughly eight years prior to game start! If not, we can totally figure something out for a current CR thing!


ETA: I just realized I should probably read up on his history and saw that he was in jail during that time -- it could be possible he was a friend of her mom's so she's more likely to trust him than other shapeshifters?

No worries, and I am totally cool with him being a friend of Malia's mom's. Is there anything major I should know about her or anything like that?

The only things really of note are that she was probably another coyote shapeshifter, she had Relations with a werewolf named Peter Hale which resulted in Malia herself (and Malia's mom taking Malia to London when she was a baby, keeping the reasons vague in case we get a Peter) and here in UG, Malia's mom was murdered by vampires when Malia was around 8 years old.

Malia's mom, in canon, doesn't even have a name (I made one up when I AU'd Malia into the setting, and I'll probably change it when/if she ever gets one), and we don't really know that much about her other than she's Malia's mom and she vanished right after Malia was born, so knowledge of Teen Wolf isn't really necessary!

I figure that Sirius and Malia's Mom were friends, not especially close, but got along well enough. Sound good?

Nancy's always down to help people. Just her MO. Also she's taken on the role of Stiles' protector more or less so she clearly must meet Malia.

They should def meet up and agree to protect Stiles, the damsel in distress! \o/ I've never read Oliver Twist, so I don't know much about Nancy but glancing over your app it seems like they could get along!

It's goooood. But yes. She's kind of the best, and I think she and Malia will definitely get along. Also, she has a cat, so play nice.

Malia is neutral on cats so no worries there!
