CR Planning: June 2015

Welcome to the Underground! Newbies, we're very excited to have you! This post is both a CR meme and a general update about what's happening in the game, so please do read and feel free to ask any questions.

You can use this post to:

• Discuss your character's background history with other players and make changes where needed.
• Work out shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.
• Say what kind of CR you're looking for and reply to others to offer CR.
• Say hi to the members of your faction and discuss your in-game strategy.
• Think about what territories you might want to make a claim on.

Newbies, are you wondering how to get started? The plotting post for June is still live, and there's room to jump in! Here are some plots in the works that are open to join:

Vampire & hunter shenanigans
• The Bloody Countess (20th June, Heiji Hattori)

Fae shenanigans
• Litha Feast: aka kidnapped by the Seelie (21st June, Heiji Hattori)
• Missing teens: aka who got kidnapped by the Seelie (in-progress, Pel Lavellan)

Witchy shenanigans
• Forming a Circle Midnight coven (25th June, Abigail Widdowson)
• Throwing a Midnight party at Geap Manor (1st July, Abigail Widdowson)

There will also be some new game information to be added this month: the Elites, a list of the most influential characters in each faction. These will be exclusively made up of level 4 or 5 ranking characters, and therefore to start off this page will be populated by NPCs. The twist? They'll be made up by you, so that you can put a name and a face to your faction leaders. Look out for an OOC post on that soon.

SO. HI. trevor's really not all that different from his canon iteration aside from the fact he moved to london semi-recently and is still getting used to the supernatural shenanigans.

as far as planning for june i don't have much solidified aside from him ramming his car into the countess' vampire headquarters. if you'd like a particular scene after he smashes his car into the building that'd be great, and i'm open to, say, your character deciding he has an amazing idea, this whole ramming thing, and deciding to join him. anarchyyyy

- people to get in fights with.
- people to get drunk with.
- people to get drunk with, then get into a fight with.
- people to boss around employees! trevor's always on the lookout for those who wish to dabble in crime, or are too naive to realize what they're getting into and he's able to rope into working for him. he runs a drug/weapons trade business, so if you'd like your character to get in on that let me know. right now he just has nux working for him.

really tho i'm not picky about anything and if you have a random idea of your own throw it at me.

This girl drinks, and she's getting friendly-ish with Nux, so she'll probably be around and will happily go drink for drink with someone.

Can Clara just watch him get drunk and try to advise him not to fight and help him when he almost gets into a fight by trying to stop the fight but triggering an even bigger fight with her ghostly powers and there's a flat out bar brawl or something.

EXCELLENT. SHE TRIES TO HAND HIM A BOTTLE OF ALCOHOL TO GIVE SOMEONE AS A OFFERING BUT INSTEAD IT WHACKS SOMEONE AT THE SPEED OF SOUND OR SOMETHING. THINGS LIKE THAT.

The (bad) flirting is what got me the most oh goood. If you have a log set up for just that you can totally expect me to be on that like maple syrup on waffles/pancakes: Everywhere.

what rough older men who enjoy drinking and fighting hello. I've got this lovely witch here who's got her own bit of stake in the drug business. But she got that from her foster father, who, given Trevor's proclivities, would probably be a vaguely familiar name, esp. since he just moved to London.

oh yeah i'm down for him having known or at least heard of her foster dad! if the former, you could give me some general info about him and i can make it canon for them to have been drinking buddies or something, maybe done some business together... he could've met nancy too, or we could have them just randomly meet for the first time. trevor ain't been in london too long either

For sure for sure. Fagin is awful, old creepy skinny dude. Totally dresses still like he's in the victorian era but he can because he's fae and that's how he rolls. He's been doing the kid stealing for. forever. I think the idea of them having done business at some point makes good sense.

Sounds good to me! She's kinda just there periodically in the background with the boys. Or doing her own business with Fagin, like it or not. She gives him part of her income. So much for being out from under his thumb. So yeah, that young whore that hangs out around his place sometimes.

alternatively, Eames isn't much of an "employee" kind of guy, but he's definitely the "seedy underground and making alliances" type, if that's his jam?

and yeah they could form a kind of wary partnership, t's all about those. might try to sell him meth or an ak-47 though.
