CR Planning: June 2015

Welcome to the Underground! Newbies, we're very excited to have you! This post is both a CR meme and a general update about what's happening in the game, so please do read and feel free to ask any questions.

You can use this post to:

• Discuss your character's background history with other players and make changes where needed.
• Work out shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.
• Say what kind of CR you're looking for and reply to others to offer CR.
• Say hi to the members of your faction and discuss your in-game strategy.
• Think about what territories you might want to make a claim on.

Newbies, are you wondering how to get started? The plotting post for June is still live, and there's room to jump in! Here are some plots in the works that are open to join:

Vampire & hunter shenanigans
• The Bloody Countess (20th June, Heiji Hattori)

Fae shenanigans
• Litha Feast: aka kidnapped by the Seelie (21st June, Heiji Hattori)
• Missing teens: aka who got kidnapped by the Seelie (in-progress, Pel Lavellan)

Witchy shenanigans
• Forming a Circle Midnight coven (25th June, Abigail Widdowson)
• Throwing a Midnight party at Geap Manor (1st July, Abigail Widdowson)

There will also be some new game information to be added this month: the Elites, a list of the most influential characters in each faction. These will be exclusively made up of level 4 or 5 ranking characters, and therefore to start off this page will be populated by NPCs. The twist? They'll be made up by you, so that you can put a name and a face to your faction leaders. Look out for an OOC post on that soon.

Faolan | Human (hunter) | Hillingdon

Faolan is a gruff and standoffish hunter with the Hillingdon clan. He's been doing this hunter thing for a while now (10 years of his adult life or so, to be exact) so he's gotten to be pretty good at what he does. He's new to the game but not new to the city, although he originally hails from Ireland, and despite having relocated a while ago and never having gone back, he still maintains the accent and is basically really Irish (Faolan O'Neill I mean come on, really now). He came from a family of hunters although his entire family was slain by vampires - it's a long story but to make it sort, he doesn't like vampires very much. He doesn't kill them on sight but he only needs so much reason. Similarly, he's fairly hard-hitting for other supernaturals as well. There's basically no such thing as a second chance in his book. He has a secret soft side (he went to school for music!) but on the outside he's also tough as nails.

PLANS/DESIRED CR:

Interactions with Hillingdon hunters - Faolan would have been around for a while there now but it's totally reasonable that, if they predate him, he just wouldn't have been sociable enough to talk to them until this point >>

Interactions with supernaturals - good, bad, ugly! COME AT ME I am one of those odd ducks that really does enjoy some good negative CR. Faolan certainly enjoys growling at people haha.

Fri...ends for him? Despite everything I said about him being gruff and scary, he does have the secret softy side, and idk how long it would take for someone to discover/tap into that, but I'd love it if at least someone eventually discovered it :')a

I am not sure what Sasuke-mun's plans are for Hillingdon (if any), however Heiji is interested in making contact with Faolan's clan. So we could try and see if they hit it off?

For sure!! Fae are a definite Uncertain for Faolan, and he is always looking to know/learn more about basically everything he can. He does NOT want to be caught out of his element, basically. Do you have any ideas as to how you might like them to meet/in what sort of a situation? I'm probably going to put up a general sort of "run into him while he is out and about" sort of a post this weekend maybe, is that something you might be interested in tagging into? :')a

Sure, I usually make up this stuff on the fly anyway! Fair warning that I'll be out most of tomorrow, though!

Oh, and he's a private investigator of sorts! Heiji is also a detective B)

Faolan liaises with the police on occasion, but he's definitely not police himself. This could also be a direction that we could take with them as well? :')a

Yeah, they might actually recognize each other since Heiji occasionally shows up and consults on police cases :)

Oh man, they're both doing the same sort of job then! Even if they may not recognize each other, they might at least know of each other because of that! :o

Wanda's making friends-ish with Nux, so she'll probably be at least a visitor around Hillingdon. She's pretty open about not being human, but she's also an adamant hunter of anything that hurts humans. So... might make for interesting CR!

OH MAN that really could be interesting CR yeah! Because yeah, Faolan is right there with her, except for the part where he's a human himself. But his father was a good, moral man about his hunting and it ended up getting his whole family killed and his little sister tortured and turned into a vampire, so Faolan...doesn't care about being moral himself :x NO THREE STRIKES FOR HIM LMFAO

Wanda's brother recently died from a vampire hunt, so, she'll sympathize there quite a bit.

Oh no :( Everything with Faolan's family happened like 10 years ago but man he carries a grudge. He'll definitely feel for her in return.

Hello yes I'm here offering Clara for a two-in-one deal. Order now and not only can he interact with her since she's a ghost but!! he can also learn she's a nice ghost at that so friendly acquaintances at least?

YES GHOST FRIENDS I would love this!!! :')a Faolan is the sort to really need softer friends around him to help him though, and I feel like she could really be one of those people though?

She definitely is a softie! She'll totally be there to all sunshine and rainbows and fret a bit and ask if he's fine? Alright? Do you need anything?

She can also send him encouraging post it notes too if you want. Willard helped her out in finding better ways to communicate with people and at the moment post it notes are the way to go for her. All the cheerful 'you can do it! :D' every where.

I'm so sorry for her.

They're the same brand of stale chocolate, so there's that. Also Will's been giving Hillingdon members the extreme cold shoulder so he wouldn't know Faolan for his rank or attitude and frankly would give negative damns about it. Rudefriends CR.
