CR Planning: June 2015

Welcome to the Underground! Newbies, we're very excited to have you! This post is both a CR meme and a general update about what's happening in the game, so please do read and feel free to ask any questions.

You can use this post to:

• Discuss your character's background history with other players and make changes where needed.
• Work out shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.
• Say what kind of CR you're looking for and reply to others to offer CR.
• Say hi to the members of your faction and discuss your in-game strategy.
• Think about what territories you might want to make a claim on.

Newbies, are you wondering how to get started? The plotting post for June is still live, and there's room to jump in! Here are some plots in the works that are open to join:

Vampire & hunter shenanigans
• The Bloody Countess (20th June, Heiji Hattori)

Fae shenanigans
• Litha Feast: aka kidnapped by the Seelie (21st June, Heiji Hattori)
• Missing teens: aka who got kidnapped by the Seelie (in-progress, Pel Lavellan)

Witchy shenanigans
• Forming a Circle Midnight coven (25th June, Abigail Widdowson)
• Throwing a Midnight party at Geap Manor (1st July, Abigail Widdowson)

There will also be some new game information to be added this month: the Elites, a list of the most influential characters in each faction. These will be exclusively made up of level 4 or 5 ranking characters, and therefore to start off this page will be populated by NPCs. The twist? They'll be made up by you, so that you can put a name and a face to your faction leaders. Look out for an OOC post on that soon.

Nancy is a young witch who was born and raised in London. She was raised by a slimy Unseelie Fae named Fagin, and she grew up to be a thief, prostitute, and blood-worker. Thanks, dad. Fagin himself was a fence (sold stolen goods) and worked in the black market of the underground. He also has a gang of prepubescent boys that steal for him. It's not good.

She's generally very friendly and easy to talk to, Nancy's the girl you want on your side. She's stubborn as hell and loyal to boot. She's also a bit of an alcoholic, WHOOPS. She's very much a neutral party, despite working with Circle Midnight. She tries not to get involved in picking sides, if she can help it. Yeah.

Plans

-Somehow she's being dragged along to starting a proper Circle Midnight coven.
-And she'll be attending that party.
-Making sure Stiles doesn't get himself killed.
-That's it.

CR Ideas

Faebow Connection I'd love for her to have some Fae connections. She wasn't exactly a secret, Fagin pretty much collects kids. So if anyone would have reason to deal with a mad-shady character like him, maybe you knew her. Or at least of him.

Sex, blood & rock n' roll She's been working for some time, so if there's any chance your vamp would want to borrow her for a either a night or a bite, I'm totally down. Anyone, of course, is welcome.

More Witches! maybe you bought some magic drugs from her. or maybe you met her through some witchy shindig. Other Circle Midnighters are more than welcome. Daybreaks may also apply.

Negative Nancy Negative CR? Yes please! It's some of the best. Ex-friends that fell apart, one of you screwed the other over, she stepped on your toe? Seriously does not matter At all.

Slughorn doesn't approve of this whole 'Circle Midnight, dark magic' business, but as one of the rare Daybreak witches, perhaps he can provide an example to her of how to get stuff done without going down dark paths OR being a goody-two-shoes.

Nancy is kind of a cutie and though I really doubt Heiji knows anything about Fagin, I do enjoy their chats! At some point Heiji could reveal he's a fae? Like maybe if they see each other at the party?

Yes please! She doesn't ask because she knows some people consider it super rude, but yes for sure. I like their chats, too.

Sooooo Pel dabbled in Circle Midnight things. Then she got cold feet and interrupted a ritual that involved summoning and sacrificing a fae. Ever since she's been in hiding because the young witches she involved herself with have made threats. Interested in being part of this?

I would love to be, but Nancy isn't about to summon and sacrifice a fae. Her feelings on that are AVOID DEALING WITH FAE AT ALL COSTS because they will screw your lives up. She's proof of that. She's also not a huge fan or threats, so unfortunately that would not work :(

I don't blame you in the least. Could Nancy be someone who knows what went down but refused to be a part of it? Someone Pel could trust?

Hullz yes THAT I'm more than happy to be part of! She's pretty damn trustworthy, so if you need a place to hide, she's your girl.

Ooh totally! She works on her own, but there's no reason they wouldn't be familiar with one another. Maybe he already enquired about her joining or something and she turned him down? Or he extended the offer, but found out that she does bloodwork for vampires? IDK.

Fagin sounds like the reputable sort that Eames would know. He'd probably hate him, but there's something impressive about a guy who manages to steal that many kids. As there is about a kid who manages to get out from under that guy's control, so he'd probably be kind of fascinated by Nancy, regardless of his distaste for witches.

Yes I like this idea. Pretty much along the lines of what I was thinking. This'll be some interesting CR. Would they know each other already, or just a vague recognition thing?

I was thinking vague recognition? Like Nancy might've seen him with Fagin now and then but they've probably never actually spoken?
