CR Planning: June 2015

Welcome to the Underground! Newbies, we're very excited to have you! This post is both a CR meme and a general update about what's happening in the game, so please do read and feel free to ask any questions.

You can use this post to:

• Discuss your character's background history with other players and make changes where needed.
• Work out shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.
• Say what kind of CR you're looking for and reply to others to offer CR.
• Say hi to the members of your faction and discuss your in-game strategy.
• Think about what territories you might want to make a claim on.

Newbies, are you wondering how to get started? The plotting post for June is still live, and there's room to jump in! Here are some plots in the works that are open to join:

Vampire & hunter shenanigans
• The Bloody Countess (20th June, Heiji Hattori)

Fae shenanigans
• Litha Feast: aka kidnapped by the Seelie (21st June, Heiji Hattori)
• Missing teens: aka who got kidnapped by the Seelie (in-progress, Pel Lavellan)

Witchy shenanigans
• Forming a Circle Midnight coven (25th June, Abigail Widdowson)
• Throwing a Midnight party at Geap Manor (1st July, Abigail Widdowson)

There will also be some new game information to be added this month: the Elites, a list of the most influential characters in each faction. These will be exclusively made up of level 4 or 5 ranking characters, and therefore to start off this page will be populated by NPCs. The twist? They'll be made up by you, so that you can put a name and a face to your faction leaders. Look out for an OOC post on that soon.

Henry Morgan - meta human, Redbright

So! Henry is currently a teacher of mundane politics and history at Redbright Institute and looking to open his own practice for humans and supernatural creatures alike.

Within a few months, I'm planning on having him become, instead, the on-call physician at Redbright and a medical examiner with the Night Council as a Civil Servant.

He is an immortal like in his canon, and he's just recently back from time in NYC. I would love for older/immortal characters who might have seen him around years and years ago, etc, or students. Or, really, anyone who might come into his circle of influence.

I would love for them to have some sort of history even just in passing. I don't know how they would have met though he doesn't seem like the type to go to fae shindigs.

He wouldn’t have been to fae stuff since he only learned about other supsupernaturals when he returned to London this time.

She has been known to enter the human world occasionally posing as a human. Even if he just wants to recognize her as someone he passed by or was talking with a colleague sometime in the distant past who should not still look that young that'd be interesting. Even if we aren't playing together for a while in here let me know if you want that to be a thing. She would certainly remember that about him if she'd seen his face.

That would definitely be cool with me. Both semi recognizing each other and knowing that person shouldn't still be that young.
