Hello everyone, I'm Athena and I play Mab who's actually Queen of Winter in her own canon, The Dresden Files. She's coming into this game as a Lady in the Unseelie court. It has been a while since I've been in a game so this will be fun! Mab is aloof, cold and enterprising. If your character shows potential she'll probably see if she can find a way to get them in her debt. She doesn't know much about pop culture so she may get confused by turns of phrases and references to current music or media.

Welcome Athena! That reminds me: you can pick a title for her if you want! (i.e. "Lady of...") She can't have winter just yet, but anything winter-related would be fine.

I'm asking so many questions all the time LOL thank you very much. OH! That reminds me since it came up while I was chatting with the other Fae, I know you earn minions as you move up the ladder power wise. Since I'm starting at 3 does that mean I have minions at all or I have to start from scratch there? And is it ok to ask that here or is there somewhere you prefer I ask questions?

No worries! Most mod posts will have a thread for questions. And if you have any general questions, you can always ask in the FAQ.

For minions, you'll have to start from scratch! You can assume that there are fae for Mab to boss around, but you'll need some activity points to start adding them officially.

At the moment I just have Clara who is a very nice ghost. I'm not sure if she'll catch Mab's attention besides prevent kids from getting kidnapped by fae because that's her thing so yes. :|a

.... I'm so sorry to say but her starting haunting area is a coffee shop.

But! Clara has been around for +10 years. She can travel around now so I can see her wandering into territory that she shouldn't be and getting into trouble that she shouldn't be involved in in the first place.

Hello Ash! I adore Stiles so it's always so fun to see someone is playing him in game. He's one of my favorite types of characters. (Gotta love the dry humor) So there will be SOME way for them to meet up sometime. He has a personality like the main character in my series but none of the raw power so we'll see what happens. It's like a fun science experiment.

You know I've powered through about ten books in the last month and three of them were the Agent of Hel series, the only problem with that is I can't remember the details of earlier books sometimes when I devour them like that. I had to go back and remember. All it took was Irish ghoul. LOL So good to see him. It's nice to meet you Shade :)

Hee, yes, I think Lurine was one of my favs in the book. I'm especially fond of Caery's Kushiel's Dart series. I read all of her other books because of them.

I read her adult ones first and then Santa Olivia and then Agent of Hel. It felt like a really juvenile jump LOL. I thought the concept was interesting if depressing.

Hello Eilidh thank you! LOVING the nickname on your journal. I only see it in my email but I laughed out loud. Mab is so very interested in Derek. Heiji mentioned an alpha and little whispers of power tittered around her head. I want her to seek you out sometime even though he'll probably hate her (at least she's not the only one).

She will likely make him incredibly wary and he'll be super careful around her - or at the least, he'll try to be. I plan to make a post for Mab later in the month but I will hit up his thread tomorrow. She's still establishing herself in game so I'm trying to find ways for her to suborn people into service it may take her getting to know everyone's needs and laying little offers here and there before she can really start to nail people's feet to the floor :) I'm so excited!
