Faction Reward: February 2017

It's faction reward time! Every three months or so, the faction with the highest amount of plot involvement per player will have the opportunity to claim a reward. The winning faction is decided based on the average number of plots and events run by each player over the last three months.

So, without further ado, the winner is...

ISLINGTON NEST!

Congratulations! You can now choose one of the following rewards:

• Gain a territory.
• Change a law in your faction's favour.
• Form an alliance with another faction.

Islington players, you have until 24th February to vote for your preferred reward. Once you have selected your reward, you can then work out the details in the upcoming plotting post.

If you vote to gain a territory, you should decide what territory you'd like to win. If you vote to change a law, please discuss your options with me – you will need mod permission for your proposed change. Finally, if you vote to form an alliance with another faction, then it's a good idea to bring players of the other faction into the discussion to check that ICly an alliance could be made. The two groups will then be considered together as a single faction for the next round of group rewards.

Whichever reward you choose will ICly happen in March. A member of your faction will therefore need to volunteer to lead the plot in the upcoming plotting post. Enjoy!

I haven't heard any feedback from anyone else in the faction yet so I'm just gonna throw my 2c up here in terms of what I think we should use this for, given the current political climate of the game. Others are welcome to throw in their 2c as well, but since we are already late (a thank you to the mods for your understanding in letting us submit it after the deadline) it is better to just get the thoughts out there than wait for everything to come together first.

WHAT I WAS THINKING THOUGH is that Samantha is one scary bitch witch. And with Islington and Circle Daybreak tied as the biggest factions in terms of territory, here is our chance, before she starts gaining momentum, to take her (and Circle Daybreak) down a notch and get away with doing so by using this reward to claim a territory -- Lambeth.

Now, I realize that this could direct both the wolves and Daybreak towards having Islington as an enemy at the same time. Daybreak and the wolves are both sort of allying with each other as it stands anyway. Islington is big and powerful, but to have to defend from two sides at once might be a lot, which may be a point against the idea. But also this could push them to seek deals with other factions. Who's left that they haven't pissed off yet -- the Fae? Redbright?? IT CREATES INTERESTING POSSIBILITIES provided that all the powerful egos involved can swallow it down and focus on the survival of their people.

THOUGHTS???
