+1 old vampire

Hello! My name is Avis and I'm super excited to bring you Cesare Borgia from The Borgias! He's a failed cardinal from the Renaissance period and is now a vampire who is here to be your over confident, smug vampire dad.

He's a fairly charming gentleman with anger issues, is passionate, ambitious and prefers his enemies barbecued. Although he's pretty relaxed most of the time, there's a constant, quiet violence bubbling under the surface and he can sometimes have sudden, volatile rages: tables get flipped, people get stabbed and it's generally not good for anyone.

He will definitely be nice to you, though, if you are nice to him, and has a surprisingly strong moral fibre at times. It's just a bit skewed.

He loves sex, wine and rock and roll.

He's also running a luxury London hotel called The Angelo. If any vampires need a place to stay, Cesare will gladly give them a suite to stay in for the night. Or longer. But after a while, he's going to start asking for favours in return.

I'm uber pumped to play with all of you! Please don't hesitate to add me on plurk at [plurk.com profile] swagalicious . I love to plot and chat.

Looking forward to interacting more with you all soon!

Hello! c: I know you but I will introduce myself anyway -- I'm Teresa and I play Faolan from Juliet Marillier's The Bridei Chronicles (which is kind of obscure so don't worry if you've never heard of it haha), the (newly meta)human head of Hillingdon and Guardian of the Night Council, also a grumpy maker of mistakes. I also play Jean-Claude, from LKH's Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series, who was recently made Earl of Clerkenwell and who will enjoy hitting on him. He owns a strip club in the city himself, is 600+ years old, very french, very camp, and maybe they know each other? What are your thoughts on previous CR between these two? What would Cesare think of JC for that matter?

Jean-Claude was only released from basically being enslaved by his maker (IT IS A LONG STORY) a century ago, but provided it could have happened sometime between then and now, I'd be down c: An attractive man like Cesare? He'd definitely be into it. He wouldn't have been looking for anything serious (that's part of the long story -- he's been there, done that, and ruined his own life, his lover's life, and their collective lover's life in the process, weeps) BUT a casual fling maybe like. 50 years ago or something lmfao? And now they are something more like business partners? Cesare with his hotel, and JC with his (mostly male, this is recycled from canon btw, smh at you JC) strip club?

And oh yeah, JC is definitely... The camp is a facade for sure. There's definitely substance there though. I've set him up to be basically the unpopular vampire in the city for the last century because he's campy and French yes but he's also. More lenient and compassionate than most vampires would be? NOT TO SAY that he cannot step up and hold his own, protect his own, that he wouldn't do whatever was necessary to survive, etc. But he's got a heart under there, bigger than it should be at 600+ years old, and though he is super manipulative and conniving to boot THAT'S mostly why he's so camp. Because it's easier to have people believe that than to know the truth? IF THAT MAKES SENSE HAHA??
