When one leader falls...
...A new one must emerge. Islington Nest players, this post is for you!
Choose your leader
By the end of this month, Millicent the leader of the Islington Nest will be dead and a new vampire will have risen up to take her place. This is happening as a result of the assassination plot led by Alex of the East End Pack, the details of which are being worked out by the players involved.
In this post we're going to decide who that new leader is.
This character will be an NPC and they will take over Millicent's role as Duke or Duchess of the Islington Nest and Vampire Representative on the Night Council, and will therefore be added to the list of Elites. Since the vampire leader has absolute power over their subjects, they are free to impose or change as many rules as they like. To remind you, here is a quick list of the current Islington Nest rules:
• Islington vampires are forbidden from killing the locals. Tourists, werewolves, vampire hunters and vampires who are not from their nest are all fair game.
• Werewolves are forbidden from entering Islington territory and can be killed on sight if they do.
• It is forbidden to turn any child under the age of 16 into a vampire.
• No vampire or member of the Islington Nest may stand for a seat on the Night Council other than Millicent.
• Vampires are not awarded daylight jewellery until they reach the rank of Earl or Countess.
• Low ranking vampires are not permitted to turn anyone into a vampire unless specifically ordered. It's only once they reach the rank of Earl or Countess that this privilege may be awarded.
The new NPC may have different ideas on how the Islington Nest should be run. Feel free to suggest new or different rules.
Any player in the Islington Nest can submit an idea! There are a few guidelines to follow, namely that the character you submit should 1) be an original character; 2) be consistent with the game information about vampires; and 3) not be a peace-loving hippy. You have until 27th May 20:00 GMT+1 to submit your ideas.
The submission post itself is screened but this one is not, so feel free to discuss amongst yourselves. The chosen NPC will be announced in the next plotting post on 28th May.
