So, Lord Coward is a newcomer as far as current London politics go, but he's an old hat of London. He basically left in 1891 after, as a witch, a failed coup of the supernatural and mortal governments failed and he was to be executed for his part in them. Lucky for him, the man he was serving had become a vampire and made Coward one as well. He's been back in the UK for half a century or so, skulking about the countryside and making friends, both supernatural and mortal.
Which (along with murder of distant relatives) is how he regained his seat (considered to be his family's) in the House of Lords and become the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis.
He has several items on his agenda now that he's looking to make a name for himself in Islington and London as a whole.
Fae: Ultimately, Coward doesn't care one way or another about fae. They're a nice snack but they're powerful, so he generally likes to leave them alone. However, fae conquering land in this realm? Tends to press people's buttons, so it's a great issue to get started with. Which is why he's striking at a fae territory. Ask him, and he'll tell you it's because they have a whole realm to themselves and don't need to be exerting their domination in this one, too.
Witches: Coward was once the Witch Representative on the Night Council and served in a Daybreak and Midnight coven both. The only thing he really regrets about being a vampire is that he no longer has his witch magic. That being said? He generally likes witches, both Midnight and Daybreak. His main focus is going to be Daybreak right now because, well. The fae make for good common enemies, and that's Daybreak's whole thing.
Werewolves: Coward is (temporarily) looking to break from tradition. Again, he can cite the danger of the fae. So long as they are allowed to maintain a strong presence in the mortal realm, no one is safe, so he'll be trying to work out a ceasefire with the werewolves. It is in no way an alliance. As soon as the fae are handled, they can go right back to killing each other, but it's a temporary ceasing of hostilities to focus on a larger issue. For awhile.
Those are his big concerns right now. But he is a politician (in both worlds) and London's police commissioner, so anything to do with any of that, I'm totally open for. I'm looking forward to any and all CR, positive or negative.
For anyone who doesn't know, I'm harlequindream on plurk. So hit me up.
