PLOT: MISSING PERSON

Hello! After all the stress of the territory claims, the harvest celebration, and so on, there's still a plot to be fun. That plot is this:

A hunter has gone missing. They were last seen almost a month ago, travelling to the outskirts of London to hunt down a werewolf.

This is kicking off after the 23rd, and running through the Blood Moon! I've tried to keep it open enough that anyone could take part, regardless of faction, so -- let me know if you're interested!

The run down is as follows:

With the Blood Moon approaching our poor NPC hunter hoped to track down this werewolf and take it out easily at the peak when it had no powers. However, things went a little awry. The werewolf he was tracking cut through Bromley, now Fae territory, and ended up in deeper water than anticipated. A Fae summoned during the ebbing rebalance of power has caused a little trouble, and it may take a while to untangle!

OOCLY, the chain of events is:
- The Werewolf flees pack after chaos, cuts through Fae Territory
- A witch (MIDNIGHT WITCH, KNOWN TO ALICE LIDELL )summons a fae and begs to see a deceased family member again
- Fae (EAMES) glamours a werewolf to look like said deceased family member
- Witch believes family member is sadly confused, due to having died! Oh no!
- Hunter goes to hunt rogue werewolf
- Hunter tracks it to house of Witch, who says the werewolf has probably taken a member of their family! Does not explain death/fae bit.
- Hunter leaves to track family member the werewolf might have, sees through glamour, realises what is going on.
- Hunter Gets Bitten by pissed werewolf, is now in trouble and injured
- Hillingdon wonder why this hunter has been gone for so long, issue reward for working out where he went
- investigation begins!

This is a rough idea, with the plot currently carrying NPCs -- but! The NPCs are loose and can be swapped for PCs! SO, if you want your fae to begin the trouble, let me know! If you want your witch to try and resurrect a family member, let me know! If you want your werewolf glamoured and thusly annoyed, let me know!

Equally, if you want to know an NPC here, either as a friend or relation or ex-something let me know! At the moment Lancelot and Faolan are going to be investigating, with the primary aim of finding and rescuing the hunter, but!

You can help investigate too! You can take the side of the rogue fae and sabotage the hell out of this! You can primarily turn up to find/help the werewolf! You can hang around and commentate annoyingly until they snap at you! All things are possible!

I figure if we get a witch or werewolf volunteer you can negotiate with them how terribad it was when it happened, if they end up as NPCs it can be WHATEVER YOU LIKE C:

(If they're NPCs my idea was that it was a guy witch trying to res his wife to see her ONE LAST TIME, so its just like 'hmm that person has the right colour hair THERE YOU GO you can see her /glamour

Commenting here to make note that Faolan is going to be letting Lancelot know about this missing hunter. While not exactly a friend of his, he knows of the guy, and being Hillingdon and Night Council, he figures he has something of an obligation to do something about it! Which is why he will be doing investigatingggggggg

I can potentially offer Sirius to help with the investigation somehow? He does have his dog senses, being a shapeshifter and all.

Totally, he is Hillingdon after all! How would you want to handle it? Would you want him to find out they were looking for the hunter and join from the start (There is potential for him to have known the missing hunter, of course!) or to go looking himself and they bump into each other? To be there for some other reason and run into them while they look, maybe find out that way? Or something else!

Awesome! I think Sirius finding out that they're looking for the hunter and joining in from there probably works best (and possibly knowing the missing hunter to give him a reason to join in).

Either at the start of the search or just running into them also works for me. He can track scents and stuff like that of course.

It'll be down in Seelie/Unseelie territory that they'll be looking (Bromley I should think!) so maybe Sirius can meet them there and be all 'hey I heard you're looking for this guy WELL I am too and also I can smell him promise that isnt weird'

Totally! SOMEONE surely must have noticed the poor thing flee the pack fighting, and now its caught up in some crazy witch's personal nonsense! Won't someone think of the werewolf!

I KNOW I'M SO LATE but if you want another Hillingdon-er in the mix I've got a hunter who needs something to do! He'd probably be most interested in tracking down the thing that attacked the hunter more than anything else, so he'd probably be involved in the later stages... lemme know if there's any gap to fill here or if I should just throw him in there to chase after the reward!

Sure! We have 1 werewolf pack member possibly helping the werewolf our Hunter is tracking, 1 hunter looking for the MISSING hunter.

So, depending on your pref, Arthur's possible FOCUSES as like 'thing that attacked hunter' that.

i) the witch! He could investigate enough to find out a witch was involved, and did 'something' involving a dead husband, leap to the mental conclusion of possible necromancy gone wrong and aggressively try to solve that puzzle
ii) the fae! HAHA ITS EAMES. He could work out it wasn't real necromancy, that a fae glamoured the werewolf the hunter was hunting, and try to FIND EAMES and/or focus on finding the werewolf and breaking the glamour
iii) the hunter! The hunter has been BITTEN so he could have focused on finding the hunter, realised he needs the werewolf's blood to break his curse before he accidentally kills something in self defence and wolfs himself! The hunter will, therefore, need assured safety, a coven to help perform the ritual AND someone will need to find the werewolf to get at least a bit of its blood
iv) THE WOLF. Just to kill it because it caused so much trouble, glamour broken or not. Potential horror if he kills it without breaking the glamour and it looks like he shot the witch's dead husband dead A SECOND TIME.
