CR Planning: September 2015

Here is your CR planning post for September! Welcome, welcome. Please feel free to ask any questions about what's happening in the game, whether you're just jumping in or you're a veteran player.

The plotting post for September is still live! There's time left to claim a plot if you'd like. For those of you thinking about future territory claims, note that Croydon has already been won by the Seelie/Unseelie Court this month, Haringey is now under Redbright rule, and the vampires are plotting to take over Greenwich. The territory map will be updated to reflect these developments in time for the October plotting post.

Sylvia Redbright (NPC) | Witch

Sylvia is a witch, and she's in charge of Circle Daybreak, the Night Council and the Redbright Institute. She's one of the Elites, who are currently the highest-ranking NPCs in the game.

Sylvia's factions have had mixed fortunes lately: a win (Redbright claiming Haringey), a loss (Daybreak losing Croydon) and a successful defence that nevertheless cost lives (Redbright defending Barnet). Sylvia will of course be looking to improve her factions' prospects where possible, so she would very much support claims to that effect!

Finally, since Circle Midnight won last month's faction reward, the law change they have requested (making it illegal to kill any witch) will come into effect this month! It will be included on the upcoming plotting post. Sylvia will be negotiating that deal in the next few days.

Here's a brief outline of Sylvia's overall strategy for the Redbright Institute:

• Extend the green safe zone to the north of London
• Take over disputed territories and make them peaceful
• Stamp out dark magic completely
• Eventually, negotiate with the vampires and werewolves to broker a peace agreement
• Support Circle Daybreak and Night Council where possible

And her strategy for Circle Daybreak:

• Make a slow expansion to gradually dominate the entire south of London
• Avoid pissing off the vampires unless they get aggressive
• Support Redbright Institute and Night Council where possible
• Aggressively squash any attempts by Circle Midnight to gain territory

Since Norrell has an interest in Night Council and is working his way up Daybreak I figure we should work out how they feel about each other!

I am guessing that he won't be her absolute favourite person.

I think she would find him immensely irritating! For one thing, the witch community is rather matriarchal in nature, so she's not going to be at all impressed by his attitude. What a tedious little man.

Yes, that is pretty much what I expected. Nobody is as impressed by Norrell as he is by himself, very sadly.
