Hello there Underground! My name is Teresa and I am bringing to you Faolan from a series of books titled The Bridei Chronicles by Juliet Marillier - which I'm sure probably no one has read or even heard of so I will summarize a little here. The Bridei Chronicles are a fictional telling of the upbringing and rising into power of Bridei son of Maelchon, King of the Picts from 554 to 584. In Faolan's canon, he was King Bridei's bodyguard/assassin/translator/spy/advisor/friend. I've done my best to adapt this character to the AU of Underground which means of course that he is a private investigator/hunter, of vampires, lycanthropes, and basically anything that decides hurting humans is fun. In his book, there are no second chances, one strike and you're out (mostly anyway).

Faolan is a sort of gruff and grumbly man with a dry sense of humor who is good with weapons and fighting, bad against magic, with a tragic backstory a mile wide. He's got a secret sensitive side, for those that bother to dig for it, but he tries hard to not let it show because he hates the weakness it shows in him. And he doesn't really like himself all that much, for that matter. Solving puzzles of the jobs he's on as a private investigator (specializing in the supernatural) and catching the things he's hunting makes him happy, because they're simple tasks and he knows he's good at it. He tries not to think too much further beyond that.

I really look forward to getting him involved in game here! Faolan is coming in as a level 2 hunter in the Hillingdon clan, his PB is Jamie Dornan as the Huntsman from Once Upon a Time (which is horribly ironic now that I've AU'd him here), uhhhh. Oh, another PI! Hi, I'm Tetra and I play another supernatural detective... although he's not human.

It's nice to see some folks coming in from Hillingdon; Heiji is familiar with one of the existing senior clan members, so he may come by and say hi to Faolan at some point.

SUP THERE TERESA. I'm Ash, playing Stiles Stilinski from Teen Wolf. He's human, so Faolan won't have much reason to hunt him, but he's also affiliated with the werewolves in London. Faolan should join the unofficial mystery solving dream team in game, AKA a bunch of idiot guys who nearly got themselves killed trying to work out a murder mystery.

Faolan should get to know him at some point, given the rank I've apped him in at (level 2) - I'm assuming he's already fairly established within the clan, if not exactly well-known. Given that he keeps himself to himself a lot, this isn't hard to believe. BUT THEY COULD MEET AND THIS COULD CHANGE YES

NOT MUCH REALLY. Stiles and Heiji both enjoy solving murders, and then Apollo Justice is a lawyer. So the three of them just sort of came together for a plot rather naturally! Once Faolan knows one of them, he'll probably be dragged along for future investigations 8]

Hey there! I'm Shade and I play this vampire here Cooper from the Agent of Hel book series. He's going to be pissing off Hillingdon hunters quite a bit in an upcoming plot, so it looks like he'll already have two strikes against him in Faolan's books. Yay!

I mentioned a lot of times that people have poked around the shop when hearing about the activities over the years plus the fact she's been haunting the playground next to it in her attempts to watch over the kids that frequent there. So feel free to have him discover it any way you like.

HAHAHA Faolan is pretty much the epitome of prickly with a secret nougaty center. In his canon he was an assassin that used to be a bard, if that give you any sort of a hint on the matter. In this AU he's...a hunter that went to university to be a musician before the shit hit the fan. BECAUSE I'M ORIGINAL....

He may be a hunter but he doesn't have a specialty per se (NOT A GHOST HUNTER FOR INSTANCE) so he wouldn't be hyper aware of it. But I'd love to have him sort of peripherally aware and interested enough to investigate in his free time, if you're down with that :')a

HEY Faolan doesn't generally have any problems with monsters. Generally. Except for the part where he kind of thinks of all nonhumans as "monsters"... /WHISTLES INNOCENTLY. As long as Derek and his pack aren't murdering or hunting humans, then he'll have nothing to worry about from Faolan himself, though. Usually.
