Plotting post: bounty hunting

There is a bounty on a rogue vampire. The vampire is newborn and cannot go out in daylight. They have killed at least one person. Reward: £200

So this seemed like the obvious way for me to go as far as starter plots, because it's a job that Clint would jump on right away, and it could be a really good opportunity for our hunters and other members of the Hillingdon clan to mix things up. Other factions are welcome to get tangled up in the hunt, too, of course! And I know there aren't many vampire characters yet, but feel free to have them jump in to cause trouble or whatever! Erryone get in here basically.

Clint will catch wind of the job, maybe from one of the Hillingdon bigwigs, and then ask around to see if any other hunters want to partner up. OR MAYBE! somebody else could also hear about the job and they could end up kind of competing for the bounty. A bit of friendly rivalry or something idk idk.

As far as dates go, I'm thinking of putting it up around the 13th or 14th of June.

So I was thinking this vamp here has a tendency to watch out for newborn vampires. If he heard there was a hunter after one, he'd be doing his damndest to make life difficult for Clint. Instant negative CR, methinks?

I don't want to butt in on any Hillingdon/Islington folks, but if you do end up needing someone to fill out your plot, I could probably toss Heiji in there! He wouldn't really be interested in the reward, but he'd help if Clint needed a hand.

Clint could either offer to partner up, which he'd actually agree to since Clint made a nice murder impression. Alternatively, he could've been offered the same job, but rather than make a friendly rivalry out of it, the thought process is "wow this way too much nonsense for 200 quid" then hand over whatever deets he has like a proper exposition NPC.

Whichever works tbh. If another Hillingdon pops up, they can always take up newbie role to Clint's badass archer game and I have no issues. If they don't, let us make terrible friends archer boy it'll be terrigreat.

Yes, I'm pretty pumped for Clint to make some enemies! He's going to be after any vamp that he catches wind of causing trouble outside the nest's territory, to be honest, so I predict many clashes in the future.

Aaaa, I don't want to exclude anybody at all, regardless of their faction! We can figure out a way to fit Heiji in, if you wanna get in on this.

Maybe he bumps into some shady dudes with swords and bows in an alley, maybe the vampire attacks him so he has a reason to tag along on the hunt, maybe he knew the vampire before they were turned or something?

I'm game for a Terrigreat Teamup, because Willard (Will? or just Wright because that's what Clint will probably be calling him idk I'm a canonblind dumbass haha) made a similar impression. If another Hillingdon wants to tag along, they could take them under their wings maybe idk. Not sure who's going to be popping up at this point.

Ringer would gladly team up (if I'm not too late to this)! She'd only want a small share, maybe 10-25%, and would be grateful for the practice and chance to improve.

She's part of the Hillingdon Clan. Only 19 years old and Level 1, so she's a bit of a rookie, but she prides herself on her shot (gun or crossbow) and has training in melee combat.

You are welcome to join the plot, but JUST SO YOU KNOW, they're going to fail utterly because Clint and Will suck at teamwork. The vampire bounty is going to be scooped up by Cooper, who is a vamp in the Islington nest, and he's going to take the fledgeling under his wing as a minion.

First of all, I'm sorry about getting back to you so late! I've been having an unexpectedly crappy month haha.

Secondly, we've plotted out that the hunters are going to fail and get eaten by Cooper, who is going to take the fledgeling vampire as a minion. I don't know if having a fourth hunter along would make it seem implausible that a single vampire would be able to spank them all so thoroughly..? Unless Wanda's powers go haywire, or something?

Idk idk, but maybe she could show up toward the end when Cooper starts getting all mindfucky with them, after drinking their blood? Clint would just be like omg halp get him outttt

I'd be totally cool for her coming into it late to help try and keep some of the mind control damage down. Of course, that is not an area where she knows her powers, so it could go wrong, too!
