i think he'd choose the rapier or the small sword. jc probably has some of his own laying around somewhere. he grew up as a french nobleman's whipping boy, gaining the same education etc as him as well so he'd definitely know a thing or two about sword-fighting.

it would rather boggle his mind that lancelot knew his way around such an antiquated art as well, but he'd take it in stride, as he does all things hahaha

even if he was bested in such a match he'd enjoy himself in the moment. and he'd be left questioning as well just why the hell lancelot knew how to use it and what other things lancelot might be good at that he might be able rope him into helping him with later, when they are not on opposing sides c:
