I'm gonna assume for now that the sequence of events is roughly as follows:

- Sylvia tells Lancelot about the list of Midnight witches and asks him to look into it. He already knows Nancy and it's probably not far from Nancy to Kenzi.
- Either Lancelot recommends or Sylvia decides that it would be better to make use of Faolan's spy skills and general suitability for this task. Faolan then swoops in undercover.
